Aptana Debugger Extension Install Firefox Failed Downloads

Zend debugger is a web server extension providing support for remote. When I hit the debug button in firefox, zend asks me to specify the matching local. Actual debugger-64bit don't want to use 32bit libssl.so file with error (php -m): Failed. I have downloaded the latest version of Zend Debugger, and have installed it.

Firefox 46, Firebug 1.8.3, Aptana Debugger 1.7.2 extensions, Aptana Studio 3 both standalone and as Eclipse plugin

When pressing 'Debug' from Aptana Studio - Firefox is launched, Debug perspective opens. After some time, error pops up
'Socket connection error. Please try shutting down and restarting your web browser, and then run 'debug' again.
Accept timed out'
In Aptana Debugger's error log appears string 'TypeError: AptanaDebugger.initDebugger is not a function at chrome://aptanadebugger/content/aptanaLaunch.js:120'.

Same Issue with Firefox 47

Is there any solution? It's 2018 and I'm still facing this issue. Should we stop using Aptana?

You got here because of an issue with the Studio debugger. Here is some information that should help you identify a cause and find possible solutions.

Firefox Users

The AptanaDebugger extension is available at https://github.com/aptana/studio3/blob/development/bundles/com.aptana.js.debug.core/res/firefox/aptanadebugger.xpi.

It is compatible with Firefox 3+ and Firebug 1.7+

  1. If, for some reason, your Debugger Plugin for Firefox did not work by default, download the above file.
  2. Then drag and drop that file on top of your Firefox.
  3. Complete installation and relaunch the debugger.

Internet Explorer (IE) Users
